I turn 23

You don’t even want to know how long it took me to get one good shot. I had to set my camera up on a tripod and manually focus 5 gazillion times until my estimation was correct.

I decided, for once, not to Photoshop out the circles under my eyes. That’s me at this point in my life–tired! With AmeriCorps, my job at the assisted living facility, and photography, I am working between 70 and 80 hours a week– and I just interviewed for another year of AmeriCorps. Call me crazy!

I can only hope that a year of being 23 will be as successful as 22 has been!
