Melanie contacted me when she first found out she was pregnant. I was excited that she thought of me for taking her portraits so early on…we chatted back and forth a bit and I asked her to contact me again when she was closer to her due date. I completely forgot (sorry Mel!)- but as soon as I saw her name in my inbox- it all came back.
This is the baby Melanie didn’t think she would conceive.
More of that light that I would chase to the edge of the earth.
And then the cows came…
We shot until the sun went down. I love the way Melanie’s hair matches the last little bit of sunset. She looks like a goddess.
