I headed up toward Ouray and Ridgeway today looking for a location to do a family shoot in a few weeks. After 140 miles (half of which consisted of turning on whatever random roads seemed interesting) and 4 hours later, I finally found a roadside spot that was suitable. There are many, MANY gorgeous spots out that way, but it is a little early in the season and there is still snow in most spots and I probably couldn’t convince my clients to hike 2 miles out with a baby. The spot I picked (see photo above) should be a tad more green in a few weeks and the water in the lake should be a little higher- great setting for a shoot.
