Day 2 with my sweetheart here with me in Florence! After the market, I took Josh up near San Minato al Monte for a lovely walk and a sunny view of the city.

After some lunch and gelato (of course), we climbed the 414 steps of Giotto’s Campanile. At one time (it looked like a couple were missing) there were 7 bells in this tower and we got to hear their beautiful music as we neared the top.

My favorite time of day, when the sun sits lower in the sky and paints everything with a shimmer of gold.
