I have big feet and a bigger heart. I love to love and I love to give. I’m a brownie-baking, apron-sewing, picture-taking plain-ole silly girl. I’m a little too emotional and a lot too busy. I love my friends and family and their never-ending patience with me. I have way too many creative ideas and not enough time to complete them all. I am gullible, addicted to carbs, and my handwriting looks like a 1st grader’s. My camera is my outlet, my safe haven, my friend. Pictures are my words.

Today is the one week anniversary of my friend Krys’s birthday. I have been much too busy to be a proper friend as of late. But we finally coordinated schedules and she got a late birthday dinner on me tonight-and she a mini-session for helping me location scout!

So many photos, so little time!! I decided to do this post in 2 (or 3) parts. So here it is- the beautiful wedding of Lana and Shane that I second shot with fellow photographer Steven Romero.
The days and hours preceding this wedding were filled with rain. It poured buckets even until the time I arrived at Steven’s house to go over the game plan. But by the time we arrived in St Augustine, the rain had cleared and we were able to photograph a beautiful garden wedding at The Oldest House. Lana was so calm and sweet and Shane so adoring of his bride. Here are some of my favorites so far.

Devan’s daddy is in the Navy and will be leaving in less than 2 weeks. Brandon will be gone for one year. I am so happy that I was able to do this shoot for Marla and Brandon to record some very precious memories.
