kelly and troy | part 2

So the ceremony ends and Troy says “Let’s get a beer!”

And we did

Then it was time to order..Kelly and Kael weren’t all that impressed by the day’s specials. “Can we just have a hamburger??”

II absolutely love when by brides provide me with plenty of time for romantics. We had nearly 2 hours to just take pictures.. AWESOME! Thank you so much Kelly.

kelly and troy | part 1

Oh the powers of Facebook. That’s how Kelly found me and proceeded to ask me to photograph her wedding. Kelly and I went to high school together. I was a sophomore when she was a senior. In most schools we probably would not have known that the other existed- but considering we went to school in the middle-of-nowhere, KS and only had 200 some odd students at our school-that was not the case. I was a cheerleader, Kelly the volleyball and basketball player. She was cool- I wasn’t, really

Anywho, I was honored (ok, SUPER PSYCHED) when Kelly told me her and Troy were getting married in Florida and would I be interested in photographing their private little wedding? DUH!!!

Mason and I made the 6.5 hour trek down to to Captiva Island to shoot their wedding at the Tween Waters Inn. What a gorgeous day!

Like, the most beautiful dress, EVER!

Oh, I forgot to mention that Tessa, also from out high school was there as the sole guest (plus her boyfriend) of the wedding. I’m pretty sure Kelly and Tessa are like BFF.
